Padma is an importer and wholesaler of bohemian, new age and alternative products based in Brisbane, Australia.

Padma was started by Chris Lee in the mid-1990’s when he brought back some wooden beads, incense and handicrafts from India. Now, we have an extensive range of products, including homewares, clothing, incense, jewellery, crystals, mats and rugs, and many other gift lines. Our products are still mainly from India, but also from Indonesia, Thailand, Nepal, the Americas, Morocco and China.

We spend a lot of time and effort developing our own products that are generally not available elsewhere.

We operate a cash-and-carry in a 2,000m2 warehouse with aisles and trolleys where retailers can pick their own colours/designs of products. We sometimes do not receive enough quantity of a product to be able to put it on our website, so if you visit our warehouse you will find more products available. We sometimes do video calls with retailers who cannot visit our warehouse but who want to pick their own colours/designs of products or see products not listed on our website.

The prices of our products are generally very competitive compared to other wholesalers. We try to make it possible for small businesses to remain competitive as when they prosper we can too.
